About Me (she/her)
As a dedicated and compassionate counselor, I am committed to helping individuals of all ages navigate life’s challenges and develop the tools they need to thrive. I recently graduated with a Master of Science in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University, where I gained comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in providing therapeutic support for individuals and families.
I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients through my internships, which took place across three different schools, allowing me to support children and adolescents from kindergarten through 12th grade. This experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the challenges students face at various stages of their educational journey.
In addition to my work with minors, I also offer therapy for adults, helping them address a variety of issues such as stress, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and more. Whether you are navigating personal struggles, career transitions, or emotional hurdles, I am here to help you find a path forward.
My academic background also includes a degree in Child and Family Studies from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, where I developed a strong foundation in understanding family dynamics and child development. This international perspective allows me to approach therapy with a culturally sensitive and inclusive mindset, ensuring that each individual feels understood and supported.
Fluent in Mandarin, Korean, and English, I am able to offer therapy in a variety of languages, providing a comfortable and open environment for individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Whether you’re a child, adolescent, or adult, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space for you to explore your emotions, address challenges, and work toward lasting personal growth.
