About Me

I am a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals, including children, teens, adults, and couples, navigate life’s challenges and uncover their strengths in a safe, nonjudgmental, and affirming space. My education and training in both mental health and rehabilitation counseling provide me with a dual perspective, allowing me to consider not only which therapeutic approaches may benefit you but also which accommodative tools can support your goals. For example, if you have ADHD and struggle to focus while reading, we might explore practical tools like a text-to-speech reader to enhance your daily life.

Much of my work focuses on individuals dealing with ADHD, anxiety, and the effects of trauma. I use a strengths-based approach, working collaboratively with you to identify your goals and values and develop a tailored treatment plan that addresses the barriers interfering with your well-being. My approach is flexible and customized to your needs, but I often draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. Together, we will examine how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors influence one another and explore ways to enhance your ability to cope with and navigate challenges.

I strive to support you in clarifying what is most important in your life and work with you to align your actions and choices with those values. Along the way, we’ll focus on clearing away the obstacles that separate you from what truly matters. As someone with personal experience navigating anxiety and neurodiversity, I bring both professional expertise and empathy to my work.

In our sessions, my goal is to help you build and strengthen connections—within yourself, with the people in your life, and with the tools and resources that can help you thrive. Whether you are seeking to reduce distress, build resilience, or create more joy and fulfillment, I am here to partner with you every step of the way. Together, we will work toward fostering peace, connection, and meaningful change in your life.

      About Me

Therapy is where we can get acquainted with the complex, hidden parts of ourselves so that we may live in greater alignment with what we truly value. As a trauma-informed therapist, I aim to provide a secure, trusting space where clients can explore difficult questions, in order to step fully into their authentic selves. I view therapy as a collaborative process, and I meet that process with warmth, curiosity, and humor. My style blends psychoeducation and tool-building with non-judgmental self-exploration. I particularly enjoy using integrative mind-body approaches like EMDR and parts work. Specialty areas include: depression, anxiety, life transitions, intimate partner abuse, dissociative disorders, and trauma.

I have been in the human services field since 2014. Prior to completing my masters, I worked primarily with young adults experiencing homelessness in New York City. In 2017, I earned my masters in social work from Tulane University. I remained in New Orleans, where I continued to work with adolescents and young adults and particularly with trans and queer youth. I earned my LCSW-C and relocated to my permanent home in Baltimore in 2020. Before joining GBCC, I worked at House of Ruth MD providing individual and group therapy to survivors of intimate partner violence for nearly three years.

There’s nothing I love more than learning a person’s story and understanding what has made them who they are. Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy being outdoors, following all things pop culture, and spending time with my hound dog Roo. I believe that, with courage and curiosity, therapy can benefit anyone seeking alignment in mind, body, and spirit.

        About Me

Henrietta is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in MD and DC providing care and support to clients with psychiatric and mental health care needs. Henrietta believes in a holistic approach, as she addresses the needs of the mind and body using a range of approaches such as psychoeducation, and psychopharmacology as well as non-pharmacological approaches. Henrietta has a wide range of experiences as a clinical nurse caring for geriatric patients in nursing homes and patients in the hospital in rehabilitation, medical, surgical, and behavioral health.

Henrietta started her nursing career as a Home Health Aide where she developed an interest in assisting the sick and needy. Thereafter, she acquired a bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from the University of Phoenix and later a master’s degree (MSN) from Walden University. Working at MedStar Washington Hospital Center with mental and behavioral patients has increased my knowledge and experiences to be able to oversee more responsibilities. I quickly realized the bias, stigma, prejudice, and shame surrounding mental health and the challenges encountered by these patients and their families. My goal is to be able to create a societal change about mental illness through the psychoeducation of patients and their families, creating individualized care plans, use of psychotherapy, and medication management. Henrietta treats patients ages 10 and up, and has experience with a wide range of mental disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, PTSD, and ADHD. I aim to diagnose and treat patients using the best evidence-based practice to make informed decisions.

        About Me

Seeking counseling is a brave step and requires courage. Many challenges occur throughout life; some without any warning. I enjoy working with adults, ages 21 + and developing a collaborative & trusting relationship to address these challenges. I am dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and LGBTQ affirming care and growing my competencies in these areas.

Most of my experience has involved working with children/teens and adults living with chronic or life- altering illnesses. In addition, working with adults individually, who are navigating life transitions. Grief and loss are often a part of these issues and impact everyone in a different and unique way. I value being authentic, kind, gently directive, and using humor along with my professional skills as a clinician.

My primary interests include working with those experiencing depression, anxiety, health issues, grief/loss, & relationship issues.
