      About Me (she/her/hers)

Hello there! My name is Ziyi (Winnie), and I am a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) in the State of Maryland. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University.

My work is rooted in the belief that every individual is inherently worthy of acceptance, love, and healing. I believe that meaningful change takes place when we feel safe, seen, and supported—especially during times when life feels overwhelming or isolating.

I take an integrative approach to therapy, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. My work draws from cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, strength-based, family systems, and client-centered frameworks. To me, therapy is not about achieving perfection, but about fostering growth—creating space for authentic self-exploration and intentional living. My goal is to provide a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel empowered to share your story and express yourself in the ways that feel most natural to you.
