About Me
A native Floridian and United States Air Force veteran, I am a licensed psychotherapist with more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities. Her interest in psychology began during her military service and developed into a career dedicated to improving mental health, strengthening families, and helping people successfully navigate complex personal, social, and legal challenges.
My professional background includes community counseling, forensic psychology, substance use counseling, individual and family therapy, trauma-informed counseling, re-entry services, rehabilitation, child and adolescent therapy, social services, and group facilitation. Through advanced clinical and forensic training, she has developed specialized expertise in addressing civil and criminal psycho-legal matters. I have also conducted psychological assessments and evaluations for individuals and groups, applying sound clinical judgment and a comprehensive understanding of behavioral health needs.
I have also provided direct clinical services, training psychology staff and interns to identify, understand, and effectively manage individuals experiencing serious mental health concerns both within and outside the legal system. I also provided clinical supervision to professionals pursuing licensure, supporting their growth through guidance, education, and ethical practice.
My approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change is possible when people receive appropriate support, practical tools, and opportunities for growth. She remains passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others and is committed to delivering services that promote resilience, accountability, rehabilitation, and long-term well-being. Throughout my career, I have worked collaboratively with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated, person-centered care and better outcomes for diverse populations.
