About Me (he, him, his)
My name is Jake, and I am a postdoctoral fellow and licensed psychology associate at Orchard Mental Health. I received my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University at Albany (SUNY), and recently completed my doctoral internship at Towson University where I worked with a diverse population of college students.
My clinical interests focus on helping folks overcome Trauma, Anxiety, OCD, and Depression. However, I like to consider myself a “generalist,” and work with a variety of presenting concerns. I also work with folks across the lifespan. Basically, I do my best to put your values above all else, while emphasizing your unique identities and experiences!
I integrate ACT, IFS, EFT, CBT, and interpersonal process in my therapeutic work, with an emphasis on cultural relational theory. I also love to lead therapy groups, and work with couples and families!
