About Cheryl

Cheryl is a seasoned licensed clinical social worker, who has been practicing for over 25 years. She holds a Masters of Social Work degree from Boston University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of New Hampshire.

She believes that therapy can be a tool to help anyone who is needing extra support in their lives, whether in going through a life transition, relationship issues, work stress, or more chronic conditions such as mood disorders, trauma, health issues.

She believes that each person seeking assistance is unique and therefore she uses an integrative approach to therapy, whether it be using CBT, DBT, or supportive therapies. Cheryl enjoys working with a wide range of ages, from adolescents to older adults. She believes that a good working relationship is based on trust and an overall good “fit” with each other.
