Dr. Stephanie Cerrato earned her Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Maryland. She is a registered psychology associate in the state of Maryland. Dr. Cerrato holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, School Psychology, and Counselor Education from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The College of William & Mary. She completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Loudoun County Public Schools where she provided counseling, behavioral and mental health consultations, and psychological evaluations for special education and 504 eligibility. Dr. Cerrato has primarily supported students between the ages of 2 and 21 with a greater emphasis on elementary school-aged children.

At Orchard Mental Health Group, Dr. Cerrato is interested in the assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD), Learning Disorders (e.g., dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia), and intellectual disabilities. She is also interested in the mental health challenges that often co-occur with these conditions. She is passionate about supporting students and their families in gaining clarity into their unique profile of strengths and challenges to support success at home, school, and in the community.
