About Me

As a therapist, I’m committed to fostering personal growth, healing, and self-understanding. While I use a variety of therapeutic tools in my practice, I also recognize the potential of artistic expression as an additional means of exploration and understanding.

Creating a safe, open, and respectful space for dialogue is a cornerstone of my work. I incorporate a broad range of therapeutic approaches, including Client-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. By tailoring these methodologies to each individual client’s needs, I’m able to support their unique experiences and stories.

My objective is to assist my clients in setting and achieving personal goals, enhancing self-awareness, establishing healthy boundaries, and cultivating resilience and mindfulness. Artistic expression, when it fits the client’s needs and interests, can offer a valuable way to explore feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, and foster further self-awareness.

Sessions with me can be fully talk therapy or a combination of talk therapy and art therapy. What that would look like is some sessions can consist of just us talking, while others can be art making and then talking about what came up while making the art. Some sessions could also start with us talking and then move into art making if you want another way of understanding what was being discussed. This is fully based on what you need for sessions and what you are comfortable with.

I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from children and adolescents to adults. My experience spans a variety of settings, including online therapy groups, community programs for adults with developmental disorders, and hospital environments. In all these contexts, my aim is to help my clients manage behavior, improve social skills, and build stronger coping mechanisms for life’s challenges. Art can occasionally serve as a supportive tool in this multifaceted journey.

    About Me

As a passionate advocate for youth and young adult mental health, I specialize in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as they navigate the unique complexities of each developmental stage. My practice is dedicated to addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, loss and grief, transitional life challenges, self-esteem issues, and social skills development. I aim to explore these challenges in depth, collaborating closely with my clients to achieve their unique goals.

My therapeutic approach integrates the interactive benefits of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), play therapy, and other creative treatment modalities, alongside mindfulness techniques to foster emotional regulation and personal growth. I tailor my methods to suit the specific needs of each individual. For example, I utilize play therapy with children to provide a safe, creative outlet for expression; for adolescents and young adults, I incorporate CBT to help reframe negative thought patterns and develop lasting coping skills. To further enhance this process, I often integrate tools such as art, music, drama, and writing, which allow us to navigate emotional and behavioral growth in a way that feels authentic to each client.

I am deeply committed to guiding my clients toward building resilience and self-confidence, helping them navigate life’s transitions with compassion and understanding. Whether I am working with a child, a teenager, or a young adult, my goal is to empower them to face their challenges, embrace their strengths, and move forward with a renewed sense of self.

        About Me

Before becoming a therapist, I spent fourteen years as a middle school English teacher, where I also provided academic coaching and mentored adults in a variety of settings. That experience deepened my passion for walking alongside others as they grow through life’s challenges and transitions. Today, I work with individuals, couples, and families, combining my clinical training with real-world experience to offer meaningful, practical support.

I specialize in helping clients navigate relationship struggles, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and spiritual concerns. I approach therapy through an attachment-based lens and draw from emotionally focused therapy (EFT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and client-centered work. This integrative approach allows me to tailor sessions to your unique needs.

In our work together, you (and your partner, if applicable) can expect to gain practical tools to apply in everyday life – tools designed to reduce anxiety and depression, increase emotional insight, and strengthen your connection with yourself and those around you. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel seen, heard, and truly understood. We’ll focus both on addressing immediate concerns and fostering deeper, long-term emotional growth.

I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Wheaton College. I truly believe that every person deserves a space where they can explore and rewrite their story with honesty, support, and hope. I’d be honored to partner with you on that journey.

          About Me

Specializing in working with adults, my focus is on helping individuals manage symptoms of anxiety and trauma. During the initial sessions, a collaborative approach is used to develop personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs. A warm and compassionate environment is provided to ensure openness and vulnerability, allowing clients to feel supported. Using a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) & Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, the goal is to empower clients to make lasting changes.

CBT helps to explore the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while Narrative Therapy offers the opportunity to reshape personal stories and reclaim agency. These approaches, combined with IFS and other somatic trauma therapy modalities, encourage self-awareness, emotional regulation, and personal growth.

The therapeutic space is designed to be nonjudgmental and supportive, encouraging exploration of individual needs. I can help you learn how to identify and experience your full range of emotions and foster resilience through nervous system regulation, with the aim of enhancing self-worth and promoting meaningful change.
