About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland (LCSW-C). I earned my Masters of Social Work from Salisbury University. I work with adolescents and adults providing individual therapy.

I strive to provide a warm and empathetic environment and use a person centered and holistic approach to promote insight, change and growth. My goal is to work with you so that you can become your most authentic self.

Prior to joining GBCC I worked with Hospice where I provided counseling to those with terminal illness and counseling for their loved ones as well.

I specialize in grief/loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression, health issues and self esteem.

“I define connection as the energy that exists between people when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgement; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.”

    About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy, as well as reality and solution focused approaches. I believe in helping people set boundaries while working toward achievable goals. Therapy can be a place where people can explore their options, gain some insight and sometimes even have a laugh or two. I have been working at GBCC since June of 2008.

My areas of special interest include: post-partum depression, infertility, new parents, parents of high-need infants and children as well as parents of infants and children with GERD (reflux), colic or sleep problems.

I received my undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management and my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in the fields of addiction and treatment foster care.
