Vanessa Buonopane, Psy.D.

Dr. Vanessa Buonopane is a graduate of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington, D.C. campus. She completed her pre-doctoral internship, which focused predominantly on neuropsychiatric disorders, at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, DE. She also completed a post-doctoral residency at a small private practice in Fairfax, Virginia, where she conducted psychological evaluations and provided individual/group/ family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach.

In her spare time, Dr. Buonopane is an avid fiction reader and enjoys working on puzzles. She also recently picked up a new hobby, diamond painting.



I’m Dr. Strahl, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist serving Maryland and Virginia. I specialize in psychological assessments and evaluations, with extensive experience helping clients navigate ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, and other severe and persistent mental health challenges.
