About Me
My goal as your psychotherapist is to engage you in a collaborative process that promotes healing and self-determination. I firmly believe in our innate ability to make changes, love ourselves, and feel empowered.
Many of us aspire not only to work through or cope with our pain and suffering but also to embark on a journey of self-discovery, find meaning in our lives, build resilience, and achieve inner peace. My purpose and passion lie in empowering you to tap into your internal resources and develop skill-based coping strategies to create a fulfilling life.
My approach to therapy involves creating a supportive, open, and non-judgmental environment. I have experience working with individuals struggling with eating disorders, self-harm, anxiety, and depression. My goals include fostering positive self-esteem, body image, and self-worth in my clients while also supporting parents whose children struggle with eating disorders and anxiety.
In addition to my expertise in eating disorders, my experience encompasses anxiety, oppression, trauma, grief, social skills, developmental concerns, ADHD, and depression. I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, employing a variety of techniques such as Family-Based Therapy, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Together, let’s embark on a vibrant and fulfilling journey, transforming life’s challenges into opportunities for growth, healing, and self-discovery in a warm, cheery, and compassionate atmosphere.
