About Me
I have had the privilege of working with teens, adults, individuals, and couples in Harford and Baltimore County for several years. My approach is centered on understanding each client’s unique story, meeting them where they are, and helping them build resilience and confidence. I support clients navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, anxiety, and depression.
I am also pursuing certification in Perinatal Mental Health, which has deepened my passion for supporting women and couples through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and parenthood. I work with those who have experienced miscarriage, perinatal loss, trauma, and pregnancy decision-making, approaching these experiences with sensitivity and compassion.
My person-centered approach is tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals. I draw from strengths-based, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), and feminist theories and incorporate techniques such as mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and reframing. Whether working with teens exploring identity and relationships, adults pursuing personal growth, or couples strengthening their partnership, I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel heard and valued.
My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by both professional and personal experiences. Witnessing the opioid crisis in my community inspired me to pursue advocacy and mental health, while experiences with illness and loss in my own family strengthened my appreciation for compassion, presence, and self-compassion. Today, my goal is to help clients recognize their strengths and develop the tools they need to move through life’s challenges with resilience and hope.
