A common therapy modality, CBT is a problem-focused form of behavioral treatment that helps people see the difference between beliefs, thoughts, and feelings, and free them from unhelpful patterns of behavior.
Single-Session Therapy
Designed to be focused, intensive, and solution-oriented, single-session therapy (SST), or one-time therapy, aims to achieve meaningful change or resolution in a client’s issue within a one single therapy session.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
MBCT is designed to help clients develop a different relationship with their thoughts and feelings. It’s especially helpful for those who suffer from recurrent depression, and often done in group settings.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy
The therapeutic goal of ACT is psychological flexibility, which means you are capable of staying present, and adapting to the moment in a way that allows you to live a meaningful life.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
DBT has a strong educational component designed to provide skills for managing intense emotions and negotiating social relationships. It’s useful in treating mood disorders and suicidal ideation, as well as for changing behavioral patterns.
