I’m Emilia Milheim, a Licensed Master Social Worker offering in-person sessions in Frederick for teens (13+) and adults, including older adults—with convenient evening hours to fit your schedule.

I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and identity-related concerns. During my MSW program at the University of Baltimore, I worked with survivors of domestic and sexual violence—an experience that continues to inform my trauma-informed, compassionate approach.

I use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Psychodynamic Therapy, always tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals. I believe therapy should be collaborative, culturally sensitive, and grounded in your lived experience—because you’re the expert on your own life. Together, we’ll create a space where healing and growth feel possible.
