About Jess (she/ella)
Jess De Leon is a bilingual practitioner (English/Spanish) who is passionate about caring for her clients in a holistic manner which emphasizes all aspects of individuals. Working in school, university, and outpatient settings with clients of all ages, she aims to provide authentic, empathetic, and culturally competent care to her client population that is supportive and non-judgmental.
Jess’ has prior experiences working with numerous client demographics with a vast range of psychological conditions and experiences including Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Identity Development, Grief and Loss, and more.
Jess strongly believes that no individual is like the other, which strongly informs her integrative approach to therapy. Her approach to therapy centers the person and is tailored to the needs of each person. This custom treatment is informed by psychodynamic, systems, humanistic, person-centered, and relational, and interpersonal techniques. Her goal in therapy is to provide a space where clients feel heard, seen, and safe to build a therapeutic relationship and collaborate on ways to determine reasons for specific behaviors/beliefs and work towards healing and growth.
