About Me

I received my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the George Washington University and am professionally licensed in Maryland. My professional experience in schools, hospitals, community clinics, and outpatient counseling centers (Children’s National Medical Center, the Lab School, and Sheppard Pratt) has given me broad expertise in addressing a variety of mental health concerns. I work with clients of all ages, with specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood and adolescent psychiatric disorders.

My approach toward treatment is to understand and diminish bothersome thoughts and behaviors and to promote self-awareness and improved interpersonal skills using the therapeutic process as an experiential learning opportunity.
