About Me
Therapy is where we can get acquainted with the complex, hidden parts of ourselves so that we may live in greater alignment with what we truly value. As a trauma-informed therapist, I aim to provide a secure, trusting space where clients can explore difficult questions, in order to step fully into their authentic selves. I view therapy as a collaborative process, and I meet that process with warmth, curiosity, and humor. My style blends psychoeducation and tool-building with non-judgmental self-exploration. I particularly enjoy using integrative mind-body approaches like EMDR and parts work. Specialty areas include: depression, anxiety, life transitions, intimate partner abuse, dissociative disorders, and trauma.
I have been in the human services field since 2014. Prior to completing my masters, I worked primarily with young adults experiencing homelessness in New York City. In 2017, I earned my masters in social work from Tulane University. I remained in New Orleans, where I continued to work with adolescents and young adults and particularly with trans and queer youth. I earned my LCSW-C and relocated to my permanent home in Baltimore in 2020. Before joining GBCC, I worked at House of Ruth MD providing individual and group therapy to survivors of intimate partner violence for nearly three years.
There’s nothing I love more than learning a person’s story and understanding what has made them who they are. Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy being outdoors, following all things pop culture, and spending time with my hound dog Roo. I believe that, with courage and curiosity, therapy can benefit anyone seeking alignment in mind, body, and spirit.
