About Dr. Aryeh Kanal

Dr. Kanal received his doctoral degree from the American School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Arlington, Virginia. He completed his predoctoral internship at Spring Grove Hospital Center in Catonsville, Maryland. After gaining one year of postdoctoral experience at Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center, Dr. Kanal returned to Spring Grove Hospital Center, where he provided psychological assessment and therapeutic services on the adolescent unit. He also served as the Assistant Director of Internship Training, supervising psychology interns completing their doctoral degrees. Dr. Kanal also has experience as an adjunct professor, teaching doctoral level courses on psychological assessment at multiple institutions.

Dr. Kanal provides psychological assessments for patients of all ages and backgrounds. He has experience administering psychological and psychoeducational evaluations for a wide variety of referral questions. He specializes in observing the bigger picture, incorporating all aspects of his client, and using the evaluation results to break down complex problems and provide practical solutions.
