Karina Tuohy is a postdoctoral fellow and registered Psychological Associate at Orchard Mental Health. Karina specializes in treating children, adolescents, and families with a variety of presenting problems including trauma, depression, anxiety, and behavioral concerns. She has experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Karina completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at Nova Southeastern University in August 2022. During her pre-doctoral training, she provided therapy in a variety of setting with children, adolescents, and families, with an emphasis on treating children and adolescents who have experienced a trauma.
Karina uses cognitive-behavioral, client centered, and play therapy approaches to treating her clients. Karina used a strengths-based approach to help her clients become more independent and function at their best.
