Joining Your Virtual Sessions
As of February 1, 2025, Orchard Mental Health Group uses AdvancedMD as our official Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform. AdvancedMD uses Zoom as its telehealth platform, which you have the option of downloading to your device.
This guide walks you through how to join your first (and subsequent) virtual sessions. Please keep in mind that in order to receive automated communications regarding your upcoming session, you must first register your AdvancedMD account, as well as fill out all necessary consent forms.

STEP 1:
CHECK YOUR EMAIL
- Between 24 hours or shortly before your scheduled session, you should receive an auto-generated email, containing a unique appointment link.
- The email will be addressed from Orchard Mental Health Group <noreply@advancedmd.com>, with the subject line: Your Telehealth Appointment with [Provider Name] on [Day, Date, Time].
- When you’re ready for your session, click the link* that says, “Join the appointment.”
* = To avoid discrepancies, please double check the date and time above your link.

STEP 2:
CONFIRM YOUR IDENTITY
- On the telehealth screen, please enter your name and date of birth.
- If you are a parent/guardian of the patient, please enter the client’s name and DOB and click [Confirm].

STEP 3:
JOIN THE CALL
- You will be admitted to the virtual waiting room.
- At the time of your appointment, click [Join Call].
